Engine diagnostics performed through your vehicle’s On-Board Diagnostics System will help our technicians quickly gather helpful information about the operating condition of the engine.  Most common diagnostic trouble codes are generated in response to problems in the powertrain, including slow-cranking, rough idling, stalling, knocking, pinging while accelerating, decreased gas milage, and loss of power during acceleration.  

Regular engine tune-ups are necessary to prevent these trouble codes and maintaining peak engine performance.  Engine tune-ups often consist of replacing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, and distributor cap and rotor.  We’ll also check emission levels, fuel lines, and belts and hoses.
